Bwthyn Bach, Tiny Cottage, is a favourite for honeymooners and those celebrating a special anniversary. The cottage is warm and welcoming with a little bottle shaped wood stove forming a focal point of the living area. Past guests have started a collection of interesting wine bottles, but only the really good ones are allowed to stay on display.
Just over a mile away is Little Haven where you will find a selection of excellent local restaurants/pubs.
Whatever you decide on, your stay at Bwthyn Bach should leave you with lots of happy memories.
The owners would appreciate No Smoking in the cottages in consideration of non-smokers.
Cot and highchair available on request.
Talbenny Hall Cottages is a scattered community, just over a mile from the popular beachside village of Little Haven and four miles from Dale, it offers a degree of peace and tranquillity rarely experienced so close to the coast. Each cottage has its own patio to the front or enjoy wandering the extensive shared grounds, with perfect picnic spots, there is even a small private lake for guests to enjoy.
The pretty country lane and spectacular cliff scapes linking Talbenny, Mill Haven and St Brides are a wonderful labyrinth of walks or cycle rides. Wind surfers and divers will need no introduction to this peninsula as it provides some of the finest locations for beginners or experts in both sports.
Talbenny Hall Cottages are conversions of original stone barns, individually designed, each with its own charm and character, retaining exposed stone walls, beams and wood burning stoves to ensure a cosy atmosphere. They are ideal for a couple or small family looking to get away from it all or can be arranged to work well for groups.
The following cottages also share this location: Abaty Cottage 32095, Bwthyn Bach 32096, Buzzard Cottage 32144, Tree Cottage 33058 and 33059 Ruffin Cottage.
Abaty Cottage reminds the owners of their previous home in Worcestershire having the same cosy romantic feel of open beamed ceilings, exposed timber lintels and a pine dining table. Lamps and uplighters throw a warm glow enriching dramatic red and blue fabrics used for soft furnishings. Even the arched Carthouse window is painted a cheerful red. The assortment of interesting flotsam and jetsam help make this a most delightful home.

Buzzard Cottage is as enchanting as Bwthyn Bach and quite similar in design, but the lighting and furnishing give it a unique atmosphere. Brass wall lights with soft green shades provide a gentle light over the antique gate-leg dining table.
Visit one of the local butchers and delicatessens, try the regional cheeses and other produce. Or treat yourself to a meal at one of the excellent local restaurants/pubs. The built in barbecues and garden furniture under a shady tree will give you the o...

Tree Cottage "why can’t we take you home with us", reads one entry of the glowing visitor’s book. An understandable sentiment when you stay in this spacious, but cosy cottage with open plan living space and woodburning stove. Local artists’ sketches and paintings add to the interesting artefacts and soft colours chosen to enhance the stone relief walls, rich woodwork and original beams. There is an open plan living space and kitchen area with natural granite work surfaces.
Ruffin Cottage is full of fun with a nautical theme and has a ‘Pugwash’ shaped boat above the fireplace and woodburning stove. You will be delighted with the original seascapes, driftwood bric-a-brac, quirky driftwood shelf and cupboard, and the secret sea chest hidden in the first floor ‘cabin’ bedrooms. The double room backs onto the kiln-shaped chimney, keeping it warm and cosy. Books and games provide lots to keep you busy and a family favourite is counting the boats in the cottage and groun...
