Watamu is a lovely dog friendly property that is only a short distance away from the beautiful beaches of Newport Sands and Parrog. At low tide you can walk across the estuary from Newport Sands to Parrog around the river bank which always makes a pleasant stroll. Exploring the Gwaun Valley and Bessie's Pub at Pontfaen is always enjoyable.

A detached East African style bungalow on the outskirts of Newport, Watamu is 2.5 miles from the sea and is set in 4 acres of its own grounds. Like its namesake, Watamu is set in the heart of a national park with its own bluebell meadow and awesome views of Carn Ingli and the surrounding countryside.
The house is beautifully furnished with an eclectic mix of contemporary style and antique pieces. The spacious and modern kitchen with wooden floors and a woodburning stove is a wonderful place to enjoy meals. In summer open the French doors and eat al fresco on the decked patio to take full advantage of the stunning views. Open up the antique oak folding doors that lead into a cosy lounge with large sofa and open fire. The bedrooms are a delight; choose between the Thai four poster bed with fresh white linen and net drapes, the romantic French room or the open plan bedroom with kingsize bed nestling in the eaves.
Explore the Preseli hills right on the doorstep or spend a day relaxing on the beach.
All these combine to make Watamu an exotic and special place which will leave lasting memories.
The owner has a holiday caravan within the grounds for her own occasional use.

One Level Accommodation - This denotes that a bedroom, bathroom or shower room, whb/wc, living area and kitchen are on one level - guests must check the property access statement on the website or request a copy via email to base their decision on, as there may be other access issues.
