Cottage is an end of terrace, traditional stone
cottage set in the picturesque Lower Town of Fishguard whose pretty harbour is only a stones throw away and has been made famous as the set for the films Moby Dick and Under Milkwood. Renovated throughout by the owner the
cottage still retains its old world charm with slate floors,
cottage sash windows, beams and wooden panelling.
Step into the dining area prettily furnished with a mix of modern and traditional pieces, leading into the compact modern fitted kitchen, while the cosy lounge makes for a comfortable spot to relax. Steep
cottage stairs lead out of the dining room to the bedrooms above.
A door from the kitchen leads to the terrace garden with steps up to several different levels of patio set up the hillside and backed by woodland. Sit and listen to birds sing in the trees as you soak up the view over the rooftops across the wooded valley while the stream gurgles below, there are even a glimpse of the harbour and sea from one of the patios. There is a quaint village pub within
walking distance, while up the hill in Fishguard itself there is a number of pubs, shops and restaurants.
Join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path round the harbour exploring up to Dinas Head or back towards Strumble head, including some of Pembrokeshire’s ruggiest coves and coastline. A lovely
cottage for couples and families all year round.
