The beautifully located dog friendly Carew Castle and Tidal Mill walk is a mile round walk, where dogs are welcome on leads.
On arriving to the Carew Castle Car Park, (where there is sometimes an ice-cream van on warm, sunny days!), you will find the entrance to the Castle not too far away, or if you would like to take a walk around the Mill, then you can do so by taking a left out of the Car Park.
As mentioned, it is a round walk on a flat concrete surface, with fantastic photo opportunities on the way! As you approach the Mill Car Park, you will find the surface will change to a gravelled path leading to the peaceful picnic area.
If you begin your walk from the Mill Car Park, then take a right on leaving towards the Tidal Mill, which is open to visiting. You will then find the Castle (and the ice-cream van if your lucky!) at the other end!
Carew Inn is located only a minutes walk across the road opposite the Castle, home to a beer garden, marquee area, bar and restaurant.
Castle View is a dog friendly property that is ideally located for exploring all that South Pembrokeshire has to offer. This includes the pubs, restuarants, shops and beaches of Tenby, Saundersfoot ...
